West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has questioned talk of Arsenal being the subject of a takeover.
Brady wrote in her diary for The Sun: "I don't see a takeover of Arsenal as much of a runner.
"The owners don't need the money and have no intention of selling.
"Some fans will see sultans wishing to spray oil wealth as an easy way to buy the best players.
"I'm far less sure. They could be as lucky as West Ham who believed they had uncovered a treasure trove of ice lolly and, instead, landed a huge debt when Iceland went bust."
