West Ham United are chasing Wolves winger Michael Kightly.
The Mirror says West Ham boss Sam Allardyce wants to bring Essex boy Kightly back to his old manor.
Winger Kightly was relegated to the Championship with struggling Wolves, where he made a handful of appearances after returning from knee problems.
Now Allardyce is trying to agree a bargain deal to add Basildon-born Kightly, who battled his way to the big time after being released by Spurs and spending years in the non-League ranks, to his Premier League-bound squad. West Ham United are interested in Bolton Wanderers defender Zat Knight.
The Mirror says Knight, 32, could leave on a free - with Premier League new boys West Ham leading the interested parties.
The defender is now coming off contract.
