West Ham are chasing Lyon defender Marcelo.
The Sun says Irons manager Manuel Pellegrini is targeting Brazil's 'other' Marcelo — but he will have to pay over the top to get him into the country.
Pellegrini likes the Lyon centre-half — not the Real Madrid left-back — who has yet to be capped by his country.
The Hammers will have to pay around £15million plus top wages for him to pass the criteria needed by the authorities to work in the UK.
Marcelo, 31, would love to come to the Premier League and be a huge asset.
But he clearly lacks a re-sale value and it would be an expensive deal.
