West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is eyeing Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

The Lancashire Telegraph says Robinson is understood to be high up on Allardyce's wish list of replacements, having been a big admirer of him during their time together at Ewood Park.

Allardyce has other names on his short list though, including free agent Jussi Jaaskelainen from Bolton, and might be put off Robinson by the expected high price tag Venky's are likely to place on him.
