Academica midfielder Fernando Alexandre is interesting West Ham United.

The Daily Mail says West Ham are keen on Alexandre, 28, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Alexandre, who started his career at Benfica, is deployed mainly as a defensive midfielder and is a former Portugal youth international.
