West Ham United will not be offering Dimitri Payet another new contract anytime soon.
That is the opinion of club co-chairman David Sullivan who says that the French playmaker, who only signed a new deal with the Hammers recently, will not be rewarded further despite starring for France at Euro2016.
Sullivan was also quick to again pour cold water over rumours linking Payet with a £40million move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
"We're not going to stand for it. He's a fantastic player," he said of the Madrid interest.
"We've given him a new contract.
"If he's still doing what he's doing now at Christmas or the end of the season we might give him another new contract.
"But he's only just signed a new contract four months ago and I don't see that three games for France entitles him to another new contract after four months."
