West Ham United chairman David Sullivan has made claims that the Hammers can win trophies in the foreseeable future.
United have made quite a mark in the current summer transfer window by acquiring the services of experienced players such as Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez.
All the four aforementioned West Ham signings have won major trophies in their respective careers and Sullivan believes that the arrival of the quartet will help the Hammers win trophies in the near future as they bring a winning mentality to the London Stadium.
Sullivan said: "We think all four players can make a huge difference. We made decision with the manager to buy players proven in Premier League. Players who have been here before and of an age where they're not being bought for tomorrow but for today.
"Long-term it's not a great strategy but short-term it is. We start the season in three trophies and our ambition is to win three trophies. I know it's unlikely we'll do that but you have to think we can win them. On our day, we can give anyone a hard time. I'd settle to win a cup. I'd love to go to Wembley and win a cup."
