West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola is on the brink of several spectacular signings, it has been revealed.
A unit of Iceland's bailed-out Straumur-Burdaras Bank took control of the club yesterday in a £100 million deal.
The Daily Star says Hammers boss Zola is close to landing three players, with two said to be "quite spectacular" signings.
