West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola is adamant they do not need to sell their best players.

"We have good players in our side, we have good players and obviously there are teams that want good players," Zola said after his side's win over Stoke on Sunday.

"I'm not concerned (with the recent speculation), I think what we want to do here to improve the team to do well.

"As far as I'm concerned the club is on the same line we want to keep our best players."

When quizzed on whether his side will hold onto their main assets in January Zola added: "Yes we will try everything we can to keep them obviously we have a project, an ambitious project and we need good players to achieve that."
