West Ham boss Zola rates Arsenal higher than Chelsea
West Ham United manager Gianfranco Zola believes Arsenal have a better chance of winning this season’s title than his former club Chelsea.
After the Gunners defeat the Hammers 2-0 at Emirates Stadium with ten men on Saturday, Zola said he believes the North London club are better than the Blues and almost on as good as reigning European champions Barcelona.
“When we played Chelsea last week they probably didn’t play with the same quality or intensity as Arsenal. Arsenal are terrible, if you leave them a little bit of space because they punish you,” he said.
“Arsenal, along with Barcelona, are the team who are playing the best football in Europe probably. They are very good to watch.
“Whether they are going to be able to do that until the end I don’t know. That is the question that everybody is asking.
“Arsenal played some good football but there were some moments when we matched them completely. Arsenal and Chelsea are both good teams and they will be in contention until the end that is for sure.”

zola is a very intelligent man. hopefully he can stay in the league with west ham. but he is right. arsenal has more quality than chelsea and also more than united. uniteds game relies completly on rooney. if he gets injured then united will have big problems. united have allways been a one-man team. last year it was ronaldo and this year it is rooney. hopefully arsenal will win the league
