West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola is eyeing Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano.
The Daily Mail says Cassano has indicated he is prepared to walk out on his high-flying Serie A club after being jeered by fans during Sunday's 0-0 home draw with his former club Bari.
"It's already been three or four games where I've been whistled," said the 27-year-old. "The same happened at Roma and I left, it happened at (Real) Madrid and I left. Sampdoria are second in the league. I repeat second!"
Zola is keen, but may be put off by his £14.5million buy-out clause.
