West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola is happy Luis Boa Morte turned down an offer from Hull City.

"I am pleased more than surprised," he said. "Boa is very important for us and is one of those players who creates the right atmosphere.

"Every time he has played for me, he has done very well. I am pleased for us."
