West Ham boss Zola happy Cole back in action: But nothing guaranteed

West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola has told Carlton Cole he cannot expect to take Frank Nouble's place in attack without a fight.

Cole made his comeback in West Ham's 1-1 draw with Portsmouth this week.

Zola told whufc.com: "It's very good to see him. I think it was important to give him a few minutes, but I must say it was difficult to take off Frank Nouble, because he played well again and I was delighted with his performance."
