West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola is confident Matthew Upson will stay after his rare goal in victory over Wolves.
He said: "I am pleased with his performance and his goal.
"In the week we have been talking about that. He said to me he would like to score more goals.
"After today's match he came to me and said we have to talk more often. I said anytime.
"He played well. I know he is a very good player. I am very happy to keep him. Hopefully he will stay with us."
