West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola admits he has no money to spend during the January market.
He said: "We won't have money to spend in January but I have been given assurances that our best players will be staying. Some will go but not our best ones, that's for sure.
"I have to do better than I'm doing but I have not been appointed here to be judged on three or five months' work.
"Correct me if I'm wrong but Alex Ferguson has had difficult times. There have been times when he's been losing games.
"That didn't change his attitude or the way he works and at the end of the day he got it going.
"It will be good to go back to Chelsea to see my friends but that is it. I have my loyalty and commitment to my new club. I don't want any parades. The Chelsea fans have to respect that we are trying to build a new adventure."
