West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is eager for Alex Song to maintain his current form.

Bilic has challenged midfielder Song to maintain the levels he showed in Saturday's 2-2 home draw with Manchester City.

"Alex had a great game but we need him like this every week," said Bilic.

“I am a big Song fan. It was my big risk when I came here as a new manager to sign a player who is expensive and who was injured so we had to wait two-and-a-half months."
