West Ham boss Moyes steamed into Masuaku after 'despicable' act

West Ham boss David Moyes read the riot act to Arthur Masuaku after his spitting incident on Saturday.

The Sun says the fullback copped a massive dressing down from furious Moyes yesterday over his spitting shame.

The disgraced Frenchman was ordered in for training and then hauled in to see the manager to ram home the full impact of his crime.

Masuaku received a straight red card for gobbing at Wigan's Nick Powell as West Ham crashed out of the FA Cup 2-0 against League One opposition.

He faces a six-match ban for the incident — which angry Moyes immediately condemned as 'despicable' — plus the maximum two-week fine from the Hammers.

The club will not contest any FA charges against the left-back.
