West Ham boss David Moyes is pushing to sign Swansea City defender Alfie Mawson.
The Sun says Swans chairman Huw Jenkins is thought to be battling to fend off West Ham's £25m interest in centre-back Mawson.
The Swans want nearer £40m but the Hammers have appeared willing to offer a few extras, including old boy Andre Ayew.
And Hammers boss David Moyes is willing to quadruple the 23-year-old's weekly pay to £60,000.
