West Ham boss David Moyes is moving for Middlesbrough attacker Adama Traore.
The Northern Echo says the Spaniard has shown flashes of brilliance for Boro since his arrival from Aston Villa in August 2016.
However, his tactical nous has often been questioned as the 21-year-old's unpredictability has held him back from becoming a regular.
Traore is currently enjoying a re-emergence under new boss Tony Pulis, but Moyes is ready to test the North East club's resolve to hang onto him by launching a move.
The Hammers are desperate to bolster their options on the flanks due to Michail Antonio's groin injury.
