West Ham boss Moyes joins Sir Alex, Wenger in elite club

David Moyes joined the exclusive club of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger and managed his 500th Premier League game on Sunday when his West Ham United side took on Watford.

It was not a good start to life for Moyes at the Hammers as his side went on to lose his first game in charge of the club 2-0 through goals from Will Hughes and Richarlison.

The only men who have managed more games than Moyes are legendary Manchester United boss Ferguson, current Arsenal boss Wenger and Harry Redknapp.

Moyes was handed a contract by the West Ham board until the end of the season and has been tasked with improving the fortunes of the club who are struggling this season and currently languishing in 18th position on the league standings with just 9 points from 12 games thus far.
