West Ham United boss Avram Grant has spoken with goalkeeper Robert Green this week.

The Daily Mail says Grant was quick to get on the phone to introduce himself to Green and offer his support after the keeper's England howler.

Grant is understood to have offered Green his encouragement during the conversation.
