West Ham boss Alan Curbishley revealed they did some work with Mark Noble prior to his match-winning performance against Birmingham City on Saturday.
The Hammers boss admitted: "Like a lot of our players he was flat last week.
"So we sat him down and showed him the film of what he did well when he played so brilliantly at the back-end of last season and then what he didn't do on the opening day against Manchester City.
"He came out determined to put that right today and it was a good performance."
