West Ham United boss Alan Curbishley has shrugged off the latest reports about his job future.

"I think that any manager and any club, apart from perhaps Alex (Ferguson) and Arsene Wenger, really will get that speculation if they're not winning game," he said.

"We've had Rafa Benitez up at Liverpool come under pressure recently, apparently, and I think the Liverpool people issued statements to the contrary and it's the life we're in. We cant' complain.

"When I was out of the game for six months I took a step back from it and saw one or two managers who I know well come under pressure and it's part of the game now."
