West Ham boss Slaven Bilic insists Dimitri Payet is not for sale.
The midfielder has been linked with Real Madrid as they prepare to lose James Rodriguez this summer.
But Bilic told L'Equipe: "We do not want to sell him. I'm sure he is happy here. He signed a new contract in February (Payet is linked to West Ham until 2021), he's found the national team.
"When (Didier) Deschamps was ignoring him, it was difficult for him. I told him, of course, you can always say what journalists want to hear, you're tired, to hell with them. Play your way back. Be patient.
"That's what he did. With the Euros, he has what he deserves."
