West Ham boss Bilic reveals stadium training for squad

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has revealed he has his players training at London stadium.

Bilic has shifted some of his training sessions to their new 60,000-seater arena to try and help his players better acclimatise to their new surroundings.

The West Ham boss explained: “We train at the stadium which helps the players to adjust. We have trained on the pitch three or four times.

“We were thinking about it and then we found out that we can do it without having to ask anyone for permission.

“The more they practice on it, the better it will be. It helps the players to get used to that specific pitch, to the size, to certain areas where they play.

“You score some good goals from a specific spot in training and when you are in a match you think, 'I scored yesterday from here'.

“It helps with optical reality they have on the pitch and where everything is. It is wider and bigger."
