West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has hinted at interest in Newcastle United flop Florian Thauvin.

The young French winger has played out the second-half of the season on-loan with Olympique Marseille.

Bilic feels Thauvin has been portrayed unfairly and argued in L'Equipe: "I am convinced that this is a good player.

"Same for the French who have signed for Aston Villa. Jordan Ayew and Idrissa Gueye.

"The problem is that they have signed for big clubs who were already in a bad way."
