West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has been warned not to demand over the odds in new contract talks.
Big Sam's £2.25million-a-year contract expires in June and an extension depends on the 58-year-old boss keeping Hammers up.
Joint-chairman David Sullivan said: "Once the end of the season comes we will sit down with Sam.
"If he wants to stay and is reasonable with his demands, then he will stay. We hope to then work out a deal."
