West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce says he hasn't given up on taking charge of England.
The former Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United manager still has hopes of coaching his country.
He told the Daily Star Sunday: "Without any dreams I would have to pack in managing.
"It was a pretty distant dream when I started out that I might want to be considered as the England manager.
"My dream right now is to make West Ham as successful as I can, not just by getting promoted but by establishing them in the Premier League.
"And if that dream is fulfilled better things may come my way."
