West Ham boss Allardyce safe even if Sunderland win

West Ham United will stand by Sam Allardyce, even if they lose to Sunderland this weekend.

The Daily Mail says Allardyce's job as West Ham manager is secure even if Sunderland inflict defeat at Upton Park on Saturday.

The board have total confidence that Allardyce is the right man for a relegation struggle and believe he will steer the club to safety.

West Ham, out of the drop zone on goal difference only, are in desperate need for reinforcements up front with the injury to Andy Carroll, and investment in the squad will come in January.
