West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has given Andy Carroll a vote of confidence.
The on-loan Liverpool striker impressed in defeat to Chelsea.
Allardyce said: "Scoring goals away from home has been a massive problem for us this year and today we created enough opportunities to have scored at least one.
"I'm disappointed for Andy Carroll because he played well but doesn't have the goal to show for it. But if he keeps shooting and getting in the right positions, the goals will come."
