West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is nervous about England selection for Andy Carroll.
Allardyce expects the 23-year-old to recover from his hamstring injury to play against Arsenal on October 6, their last match before the international break.
He said: "The last thing we'd want is to spend all that time to get him fit again, play for us, go to England and get injured.
"I'm not saying don't play him, just be careful of the situation. There'd have to be a conversation between me and Roy and the medical staff to put them in the picture."
