West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce feels Matt Jarvis is in England form.

Allardyce believes if England manager Roy Hodgson is looking to add a winger to his squad he need look no further than the former Gillingham man.

"It depends what Roy wants," said Allardyce.

"There are statistics on him on this season in the Premier League, which we monitor, and those statistics have been very, very good.

"If he (Hodgson) is looking for a wide man that can put good balls into the box then he's right up there with the best in the league at this moment in time."
