West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce says he knows how important beating Tottenham is to their fans.
Allardyce wrote in the London Evening Standard: "We know what a big derby this is. We managed to beat them three times last season - twice on their own patch - but then had the disappointment of losing to them with a last-minute goal in the opening game this season.
"Players such as Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb have developed so well this season, they are keeping some of the big-money signings out of their midfield."
