West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce admits he feels he still has at least ten years in the game.
The 58-year-old would like to continue in management as long as Sir Alex Ferguson, who brings Manchester United to Upton Park tonight.
Asked if he could envisage lasting into his seventies, the West Ham boss said: "I don't know. If I was managing Manchester United, yes. There is another stint I'm looking forward to here hopefully, which will get sorted out once we have made sure of our Premier League status.
"Beyond that I could get sacked in six months next season or less. If results don't go our way and we start the season poorly then I am more likely to get sacked than stay here for the period of the contract. That's life in football now.
"Tony Pulis is under pressure. People are calling for Tony's head, which is a sad state of affairs. That's football in a nutshell these days. The more popular it gets worldwide the more the patience and loyalty runs out, unfortunately."
