West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce may hold back on-loan Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun.

Benayoun, who joined from Chelsea on transfer deadline day last month, featured in both of Israel's World Cup qualifiers this week but Allardyce is still not sure whether the midfielder is ready to start.

He said: "Yossi has been away with his national side and only had a light training session, so we will assess the squad and make a decision on the starting line-up from there."
