West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce isn't disappointed Ravel Morrison was overlooked for the England squad.

The Under 21 star had been considered for the forthcoming friendlies with Chile and Germany but Roy Hodgson decided to try other options.

Allardyce was relieved. He said: "It's a bit early."
