West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is delighted by the emergence of Ravel Morrison this preseason.
Allardyce wrote in the London Evening Standard: "The emergence of Ravel Morrison has really spiced things up and added competition. He has that bit of class and we're all hoping that, when his chance comes, he will show everyone he can do it in the Premier League.
"There aren't many players under 21 who play consistently in our top league but Ravel will have that chance if he continues to work had and improve. He does seem to have matured. He's obviously taken a good look at himself and decided that, if he is going to make it as a professional footballer, he needed to be more disciplined in his day-to-day life."
