West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is keen to see the transfer window shut.

Allardyce wrote in the London Evening Standard: "The transfer window is due to shut early next week and it can't come soon enough for me.

"It should be nice and quiet for us, although the rumour mill has increased its production over the last few days.

"It's an anxious time for agents and, because Financial Fair Play is beginning to really kick in, I can see the opportunities to do business becoming less and less. Some of them could even go out of business unless they align themselves with the major agencies."
