West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is casting a wide net for a new striker signing.
The Daily Mail says Allardyce was keen on Werder Bremen's Marko Arnautovic but that deal faltered early in the week.
He has also considered Porto's Silvestre Varela, 28, and Lille's Salomon Kalou.
