West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce admits he rated Keith Treacey alongside Phil Jones while at Blackburn Rovers.

Allardyce gave Manchester United defender Jones his debut at Blackburn.

He told the Daily Mail: "Players like him and Junior Hoilett would come up from time to time.

"Actually, a lad called Keith Treacey was the one who stood out most in terms of talent. He is now at Burnley."
