West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce feels his time at Blackburn Rovers has damaged his reputation.
He feels it was executives, not performances, which cost him his jobs, and "damaged" his legacy.
He said: "It is damaged because someone has sacked you whether you deserved it or not. So that is where I think it damages my reputation, even though it was new owners who sacked me twice, once at Newcastle after six months because I wasn't their man and once at Blackburn when Venky's came in - because again I was not their man.
"They have the right to choose whoever they choose, no matter how good or bad you do.
"When they don't want you, you've to accept that."
