West Ham boss Allardyce: AVB better for Chelsea experience

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce believes Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is a better coach for his nightmare run at Chelsea.

AVB was sacked after just eight months at Chelsea when he failed to deliver.

Allardyce said: "He has probably learned an awful lot from his short time at Chelsea.

"He's probably seen and learnt from his bitter experience that he obviously had.

"It was the first time that things probably haven't gone so well for him. And you can probably learn more in that period of time than you can when things went as well as they did at Porto where he won the UEFA Cup."
