West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce admits they're closing in on Sochaux striker Modibo Maiga.

Allardyce admitted that a deal to bring in Maiga was in the pipeline but insisted there were still some details to be finalised before he puts pen to paper.

The Hammers boss told Sky Sports News HD: "At the moment that is progressing. That is going forward as we speak but is a little way off being clinched."
