West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce admits the jury is still out over a deal for Carlton Cole.

Allardyce wrote in the London Evening Standard: "Carlton Cole continues to train with us. There is a possibility that, on any day, we might lose him because he remains a free agent but we have arranged a game for him, during the international break, and if he comes through that, we will sign him."
