West Ham United and Bolton are believed to be showing considerable interest in Charlton Athletic defender Chris Solly.
The 21-year old right-back has risen to prominence under Chris Powell over the past year or so and is now attracting the interest of bigger clubs.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is believed to be a big fan of Solly and is set to make an offer but will face competition from Trotters manager Owen Coyle according to Sky Sports.
