West Ham United are set to make a bid for FC Twente midfielder Cheik Tiote.
Hammers boss Avram Grant hopes to bring in the 24-year old Ivorian for around £4million and even sent scouts to watch him in action for the Ivory Coast national team against Italy on Tuesday.
Tiote joined Twente in 2008 after kicking off his professional career with Anderlecht but says he is now ready for a move to the Premier League.
"I want to move to England, my advisers have told me there is interest for me," he said.
