Sporting Lisbon winger Simon Vukcevic is interesting West Ham United.
The Daily Star says sources in Portugal claim the player is keen on a move to the Premier League - and the Hammers are hoping to persuade Sporting to sell in this transfer window.
But Sporting want to keep Vukcevic, who is contracted until 2013.
There is also reported to be a minimum release fee in his contract of around £17m. The Hammers would want to pay only around a third of that.
