West Ham United are moving for Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The Daily Mail says the Hammers hope to take advantage of Pompey's plans to cut their cloth in the summer by moving for midfielder Boateng.

Boateng has been one of Pompey's most consistent performers this season - despite the club's dismal Premier League campaign.

Hammers co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan know the Upton Park squad is need of a major shake-up if they are to avoid another relegation battle next season.
