West Ham beat Everton for Mexican DYNAMITE Barrera

Pumas are expected to sell winger Pablo Barrera to West Ham United in the next 48 hours.

The Daily Mail says Barrera is expected to complete a £3million move to West Ham in the next 48 hours despite late interest from Everton.

The 23-year-old's club Pumas say a deal is expected to be completed before the weekend, with the Hammers understood to have bettered bids from Espanyol and the Merseysiders.

Pumas sporting director Mario Trejo said: "I must admit that after analysing the offers of Espanyol, West Ham and Everton, there is one that has convinced us more than the rest.

"We can't talk too much about it because then everything gets complicated and as we are very near to reaching an agreement we don't want to spoil the negotiations.

"It's very possible that between Thursday and Friday we will have something more serious to say."

Nicknamed 'Dynamite', the 5ft 9ins wide man impressed as an impact sub for Mexico at the World Cup and he can play on either flank.
