Wellington Paulista was undergoing a West Ham United medical yesterday.
The striker will sign for West Ham on an initial loan from Cruzeiro.
West Ham are hopeful there will be no problems with Wellington's medical and he will stay with the east London club until the end of the season with a view to a permanent three-year deal.
